英國(guó)精算專(zhuān)業(yè)
精算師是運(yùn)用精算方法和技術(shù)解決經(jīng)濟(jì)問(wèn)題的專(zhuān)業(yè)人士，是評(píng)估經(jīng)濟(jì)活動(dòng)未來(lái)財(cái)務(wù)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)的專(zhuān)家。其工作領(lǐng)域?yàn)樯虡I(yè)保險(xiǎn)業(yè)，在此行業(yè)，精算師主要從事產(chǎn)品開(kāi)發(fā)、責(zé)任準(zhǔn)備金核算、利源分析及動(dòng)態(tài)償付能力測(cè)試等重要工作，確保保險(xiǎn)監(jiān)管機(jī)關(guān)的監(jiān)管決策、保險(xiǎn)公司的經(jīng)營(yíng)決策建立在科學(xué)基礎(chǔ)之上。隨著精算科學(xué)的發(fā)展和應(yīng)用，精算師的工作領(lǐng)域逐步擴(kuò)展到社會(huì)保險(xiǎn)、投資、人口分析、經(jīng)濟(jì)預(yù)測(cè)等領(lǐng)域。
英國(guó)精算師協(xié)會(huì)成立于1948年，于1984年成為皇家特許學(xué)會(huì)，到目前已有60年的歷史。英國(guó)精算師開(kāi)設(shè)的課程重點(diǎn)在解決實(shí)際問(wèn)題能力的培養(yǎng)上，而不僅僅限于理論知識(shí)、課程內(nèi)容、考試與現(xiàn)實(shí)政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)形勢(shì)緊密結(jié)合。英國(guó)的精算學(xué)可以說(shuō)是集應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、會(huì)計(jì)學(xué)、投資學(xué)、金融學(xué)、保險(xiǎn)學(xué)于一身的應(yīng)用科學(xué)。
從2005年開(kāi)始，英國(guó)精算學(xué)會(huì)實(shí)行新的教育與考試體系，該體系以國(guó)際精算協(xié)會(huì)于98年頒布的《國(guó)際精算教育指南》為基準(zhǔn)，將教育與考試體系分為四大塊，明確區(qū)分了從事精算職業(yè)所必備的基礎(chǔ)課程和專(zhuān)項(xiàng)課程，適應(yīng)了當(dāng)前精算教育的國(guó)際化趨勢(shì)。
