　　· Master of Engineering Studies(180 points/1.5 years)（立即咨詢）

　　First intake – February 2014

　　This new degree adds an additional semester on to the existing 120-point degree to make a three semester programme. This will be a particularly usul option for applicants with a 3-year engineering or other relevant technical degree who wish to enter directly into one of the Master of Engineering Studies specialisations. People with shorter degrees and significant work experience may also apply.

　　Note that applicants with a 4-year bachelors degree in engineering or another appropriate discipline may still gain entry to the 120-point (1 year) programme.

　　The MEngSt specialisation options available are Construction Management, Food Process Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Light Metals Reduction Technology, Medical Devices and Technologies, Transportation, and Yacht

　　Engineering. It is also possible to specialise in one of the core engineering disciplines via the “general” option.

　　First intake – July 2014

　　This masters degree is designed to provide graduates with the multidisciplinary knowledge and skills required to underpin successful approaches to addressing the management of disasters. It concentrates on key issues such as disaster resilience and risk management. It is anticipated that students from a variety of backgrounds (not just engineering) will enter into this programme and there will be both 120 and 180-point options depending on their undergraduate degree and level of experience.
