　　所謂轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)，是不是意味著你在整個(gè)大學(xué)期間都可以轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)呢?原則上講是可以的，像Wake Forest University :You can apply to transfer to Fordham at any time during your university career. Vanderbilt University: You are welcomed to apply as a transfer student in any year of study. 但不包括極少數(shù)學(xué)校根本不接受轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)的，例如,California Institute of Technology: Unfortunately Caltech is no longer taking transfer applications for this year.雖然原則上講是可以的，但是不同大學(xué)階段的申請會有不同的要求和效果，所以我們要尋找最合適的申請轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)時(shí)機(jī)。

　　那么大幾轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)到美國大學(xué)比較好呢?一般來說，目前普遍國內(nèi)大學(xué)二年級和大學(xué)三年級的學(xué)生申請轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)比較多。但是對于大學(xué)一年級學(xué)生而言，不是說不 可以申，而是有一些先決條件。通常大一學(xué)生申請轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)的時(shí)候，首先遇到的第一個(gè)問題就是申請遞交材料的時(shí)候往往成績單還沒有出來，要等到來年三月份開學(xué)后左右才能開出成績單。其次，一般學(xué)校都要求如果沒有修滿45或60左右的學(xué)分的話，就必須提供SAT的成績。甚至有極少數(shù)學(xué)校是要求修滿45或60的學(xué)分才能申請轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)。所以如果你并不打算考SAT的話，大一申請并不是合適的。

　　那么大四究竟還能不能轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)呢?據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)，三分之二的學(xué)校官方說是可以轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)的，但是基本所有官方允許大四轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)的學(xué)校仍然要求你至少還要再讀兩年。比 如，Drexel University: You may apply as a transfer student even though you are a college senior. As long as you do not mind having to begin as a sophomore or junior, it is no problem. University of Rochester: We do accept transfer students that are seniors.
