近日，CA官網(wǎng)公布了2016-2017年美國大學本科申請essay題目，和2015-2016年的相同。

據(jù)CA統(tǒng)計，2015-2016年，80萬人其中47%的學生文書寫的是關于自己的背景、身份、興趣愛好，即第一個essay題目是選擇最多的;有22%的申請人選擇了第5個題目，寫自己的成就;17%的申請人選擇第二個題目，寫經歷過的失敗;10%選擇第4個題目，寫了自己解決的某個問題;剩下4%寫的是第三個題目(about an idea challenged )。

2016-2017年個人陳述文書題目( Essay Prompts )如下：

1.Some students have a background,identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe theirapplication would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, thenplease share your story.

2. The lessons we take from failurecan be fundamental to later success. Recount an incident or time when youexperienced failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from theexperience?

3. Rlect on a time when you challenged abeli or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decisionagain?

4. Describe a problem you`ve solved or aproblem you`d like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a researchquery, an ethical dilemma - anything that is of personal importance, no matterthe scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could betaken to identify a solution.

5. Discuss an accomplishment or event,formal or informal, that marked your transition from childhood to adulthoodwithin your culture, community, or family.

此前，前杜克大學招生官Willie曾向申請者分享，優(yōu)秀的文書可以用一個叫4C的標準概括：Correctness(準確)，Content(有料)，Clarity (清晰)，Creativity(新穎)。

準確Correctness：用詞準確，時態(tài)、拼寫和標點沒有錯誤。這一標準用來評判學生是否具備基本英文寫作能力。

有料Content：檢查文章是否圍繞學生自身來寫，是否真實，是否展現(xiàn)學生個性、才能以及思想深度，能否引起反思。

清晰Clarity：文章簡潔，觀點清晰明確;運用恰當?shù)拇朕o、詞匯、語法以及多樣精致的句式結構，這是即將步入大學的高中生應該必備的。

新穎Creativity：能否吸引讀者的注意力?主題表達是否新穎?

而需要注意的是，在寫文章時沒有一個固定的所謂完美的題材。招生官喜歡閱讀許多不同主題和題材的文章，只要這篇文章是真實可信的，同時也表達出學生真正的想法，并且還包含了以上提到的四點。
