模糊語的使用，要的就是含糊其辭的效果！.

　　模糊語是英語口語中的重要組成部分。你有沒有遇到過這種情況：想不起事情發(fā)生的具體的時間，某人說過什么話或者這個人長什么樣?這些情況下，模糊語就起重要作用了，甚至可以“挽救”你！

　　kind of or sort of:

　　Your accent sounds kind of British.

　　你的口音有些像英國人。

　　I’m sort of unemployed right now.

　　我現(xiàn)在失業(yè)了。

　　That guy was kind of rude.

　　那個家伙有些粗魯。

　　如果有人問你，Hey , do you like Funk music?

　　你可以回答: kind of.

　　ish結尾的詞

　　描述人們的特征，顏色和時間時，使用ish后綴

　　如果我想描述一個紅頭發(fā)的朋友，但不完全是紅色的，我可以說 He has reddish hair.

　　同理，高矮或者肥胖可以用tallish或者fattish。

　　如果你想描述一個你記不起具體樣子的人，可以說

　　yeah, I remember that guy, he’s kind of shortish/tallish and has lightish/darkish hair.

　　看到了吧，這種描述可以指任何一個人。

　　About / Or So

　　描述數(shù)字和時間用about,估計和大約用or so.

　　比如： I will get there at about 2.30.

　　大約2點半到。

　　There will be about 100 people at the next happy hour.

　　到時候可能會有100人左右。

　　I have about 20 cousins.

　　我有20來個表兄弟。

　　He’s about 2 metres tall.

　　他能有2米高。

　　I’m going to Australia for 3 weeks or so.

　　我這次會去澳大利亞3個星期左右。

　　I’ve been in line for 2 hours or so.

　　我排隊排了2個小時左右。

　　Blah Blah Blah

　　我們說blah blah blah，是避免去說無聊的故事內容或模仿你覺得煩人的人。

　　其他的表達

　　It’s difficult to say, but I think I’ll get there at around 10 p.m.

　　很難講，但是我覺得應該會在晚上10點左右到達吧。

　　我不確定，但是通過口音我猜他是英國人。
