解決女士上廁所排隊(duì)的新概念廁所長什么樣？.

　　在公眾廁所的高峰期，往往能看到這樣一種情景：男廁所進(jìn)出迅速，來去自如，女廁所門前卻往往排起長龍，一些內(nèi)急的女士只能跺腳干著急。臺(tái)灣東海大學(xué)工業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)系碩士班陳詩盛與賴昱儒設(shè)計(jì)出一種新概念廁所“紳士廁所”(Gentolet)是由。解決女廁供不應(yīng)求的問題，并獲得有“設(shè)計(jì)奧斯卡獎(jiǎng)”之稱的德國紅點(diǎn)設(shè)計(jì)獎(jiǎng)。　　

　　This unisex public toilet module, which straddles the male and female bathrooms, has been designed to ease the problem of long female queues.

　　這種男女通用的公共廁所設(shè)在男廁所和女廁所中間，設(shè)計(jì)初衷是為了緩解女廁所前排長隊(duì)的問題。

　　There are often long queues for the use of women’s public toilets – a result of the fact that females can take up to three times longer than males to use the bathroom. Despite this habit, male and female bathrooms are typically the same size.

　　女士使用的公共廁所前經(jīng)常排起長龍，每位女士使用廁所的時(shí)間能到男士使用時(shí)間的三倍多。盡管有這種使用習(xí)慣，男女廁所的數(shù)量經(jīng)常相等。

　　Gentolet is a toilet module that has been designed to sit between the male and female bathrooms, and serve both. It increases the rate of cubicle use per unit area. When there are no male users, the toilet becomes accessible to the female side. When the door on the males’ side is open, the door on the females’ side is automatically locked, and vice versa. Privacy for each side is thus maintained.

　　“紳士廁所”建在男廁和女廁之間，男女均可使用。它增加了每一單位面積上廁所間的使用率。廁所間里沒有男士使用時(shí)，女士可以入內(nèi)。當(dāng)廁所間位于男廁那邊的門打開后，位于女廁這邊的門就會(huì)自動(dòng)鎖上，反之亦然。因此能保證私密性。
