　　The 21-year-old women has received a womb from a dead donor. The doctors hope it will prove to be first successful womb transplant in the world。

　　Derya was born without a uterus. Head surgeon Omer Ozkan, who also conducted the world&aposs first double arm transplant, said it&aposs too early tell whether the operation was a success。

　　"We do not have any surgical problems, but more time is needed bore we deem the operation a success. Following the operation the first ten days, first three months and first six months are particularly crucial periods."
