什么是“新人基因”?.

　　即使很多職場人士并非初來乍到的新人，來到一個新的工作單位還是會表現(xiàn)得謹小慎微、禮貌有加，生怕會說錯話、辦錯事，得罪人。為什么會這樣呢?其實，這是源自人人都有的“新人基因”new guy gene!

　　New guy gene is the internal mechanism that triggers extra politeness in new employees until they&aposre up-to-speed on office politics.

　　新人基因(new guy gene)指新入職的員工自帶的一種本能反應(yīng)，讓其在新的工作環(huán)境表現(xiàn)得更加有禮貌，直到他們能完全了解所在辦公室的形勢。

　　Example:

　　The new guy is so rude. He just busted in on my conversation without a second thought. He totally lacks the new-guy gene.

　　那個新來的家伙太無理了。他沒頭沒腦地就打斷我跟別人說話。完全沒有一點新人基因。
