這個(gè)專業(yè)主要研究性別與文化，社會的關(guān)系，人類文化中的不同性別角色。其研究重點(diǎn)有女性與男女平等主義，性與性學(xué)研究，性別與健康等。 The newly configured major in Gender, Culture, and Society (GSOC), offers exciting opportunities to explore the role of gender in human culture. The new major provides opportunities to focus on women and on feminist theory, gender and sexuality, and gender and health.
