In the end, the snow-sister was finally ruined by the common-sensible and stubborn father, for he gave snow-sister the warm bread and milk and had a good thick shawl to wrap the snow-sister in. It was terrible that the cute snow-sister melted. In fact, the author tries to indicate to us that the common sense sometimes finds itself at fault in the novel.
