英文中“吝嗇鬼”的幾種說法.

　　1.He is a very stingy person. 他是個很小氣的人。

　　Stingy在這里就是指“吝嗇的。小氣的”，例如：He was reputed stingy.(他吝嗇得出了名。)

　　Don&apost be so stingy with the sugar.(別那么舍不得放糖。)

　　2.What a miser! 真是個吝嗇鬼!

　　Miser做名詞，意思是“守財奴，吝嗇鬼”。聽說Jenny最近要結(jié)婚了，Bless her from marrying a miser.(上天保佑她不要嫁給一個吝嗇鬼。)

　　3.He&aposs not a generous person. 他不是個慷慨的人。

　　Generous常用來表示“慷慨的”，He is generous with his money.(他花錢大方。);而且，He is generous to the poor.(他對窮人很慷慨。)
