辦公室的“觀景隔間”.

　　現(xiàn)在大部分辦公室都是由無數(shù)個隔間構(gòu)成的，相比而言，靠近窗戶的隔間空氣和風(fēng)景都要好一些，能坐在這樣的隔間自然也算是件幸運(yùn)的事。如果說躲在房間角落的隔間可以叫做corner cube的話，那么可以看見窗外風(fēng)景的隔間就可以叫做viewbicle了。

　　Viewbicle rers to a cubicle workspace with a view through a window. The term is a blend of view and cubicle, a cubicle is a partially enclosed workspace, separated from neighboring workspaces by partitions that are usually 5–6 feet (1.5–1.8 m) tall.

　　Viewbicle指靠近窗戶可以看到外面景色的辦公室隔間，即“觀景隔間”。這個詞是view(風(fēng)景)和cubicle(隔間)的合成形式，隔間就是將辦公室里相鄰工作臺用5到6英尺(1.5到1.8米)高的隔板隔開的部分封閉的辦公空間。

　　Example:

　　I was moved from a third floor &aposcorner cube&apos facing the parking deck to a tenth floor viewbicle facing the woods.

　　我的工位從三層面對停車場的“角落隔間”被移到十層能看到一片樹林的“觀景隔間”。
